Although not necessary, it's best to have one or more blurbs on the
back cover of your book. Blurb? What the french toast? I know, it's an odd-sounding word. But, a blurb is simply a brief review of a book. Although generally on the back cover, blurbs can also be found printed on the front. customarily, it is written prior to the book's debut, as a direct quote from the reviewer, to positively promote it. We've all seen or heard about them being on various types of books; most notably, best sellers. If you pick up a novel, for instance, you may see something written in quotes such as "This story was riveting, utterly suspenseful. It kept me on the edge of my seat and my eyes glued to each page with anticipation." - Joe Schmo, Editor of Dingy Ding Dong Times
