Let me take you back to English class, folks. Every storybook needs to have a theme. Well, what is a theme? A book's theme is its main idea; the freaking point of the story. Without a theme you're just writing a bunch of mumbo jumbo. No one will be interested in that. Another way to figure out or create the theme is to ask yourself "What is the problem or issue in the story that needs a solution?"
